CITY OF BLAINE: Blaine Public Meetings Return to Virtual Only

City of Blaine issued the following announcement on Nov. 14.

The City of Blaine reopened meetings to in person attendance in July. With the recent surge in COVID-19 cases and the increased positivity rate the city will be conducting all public meetings in a virtual only format until further notice.

Mayor Tom Ryan has signed an emergency declaration that allows for Blaine City Council meetings as well as meetings of city boards and commissions to be held in an all virtual format.

This change takes effect immediately meaning that Monday's scheduled council meeting will now be online only.

Public Comments

There are multiple ways for the public to still participate in the meetings.

Public comments prior to the meeting

Must be received by noon on the day of the meeting. Public comments can be sent by email or by phone.

Public comments during the meeting

Public comment during the meeting will be done through the Zoom platform. You can find the link to the Zoom meeting on the cover page of the agenda or at, BlaineMN.gov/CityMeetings.

Ways to watch

Individuals who just want to watch a meeting but do not need to comment can watch through all of the normal ways the city provides.
