15% of households in Columbia Heights received food stamps in 2020

Columbia Heights ranked 164th in Minnesota for the percentage of households receiving food stamps in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

There were 1,237 Columbia Heights households (15 percent) who received food stamps. Columbia Heights' population was 20,247 in 2020.

The city with the largest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was Inger, which had 33 of 45 households receiving food stamps, 58.3 percent more than Columbia Heights. In 2020 the population of Inger was 148.
