Rescheduled Holiday Tree Lighting

We've chosen a new date for the Holiday Tree Lighting event. It's Thursday, December 15 at 6:00 pm. Pictures with Santa are 5:30-7:00 pm in the City Hall Lobby. The Ramsey Lions Club will generously provide cookies and cocoa. 

The Ramsey City Hall is a donation location for Toys for Joy. Toys for Joy a charitable program founded in 1986 by the North Metro Realtor Association. The program assists Anoka County area families that are in need during the holiday season. Over the years, the program has provided toys for thousands of children each year. The last day to donate toys or cash is Wednesday, December 14. Gift ideas for this year include tool and auto kits, science and engineering kits, lamsp, pillows, decor, bean bag chairs, shelves, Lego sets, anything Nerf, arts and crafts sets, make-up, beauty products, fragrances, skateboards, in-line skates, scooters, bikes, workout equipment, camping gear and bluetooth speakers.

The City of Ramsey is also partnering with Granny's Closet this holiday season to collect new cleaning supplies. Granny's is a local, non-profit organization working to improve the quality of life for senior citizens and adults with disabilities.

A collection box is available in the Ramsey City Hall foyer. Cleaning supplies include such items as tub/shower/toilet bowl/all-purpose cleaners, dish/laundry soap, sponges, brooms, dust pans, etc. For more information about Granny's Closet, visit www.grannyscloset.org.
