Now Hiring - Streets Maintenance Worker | City of Ramsey
The City of Ramsey seeks a full-time Streets Maintenance Worker in the Public Works Department. The primary objective of this position is to provide general and skilled maintenance of public streets, right-of-ways, storm sewer systems, parking lots and any other related municipal facilities or equipment, as well as snow plowing of public streets, trails and walks.
Successful applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED), a valid Minnesota driver’s license, possess or obtain a Minnesota commercial driver’s license (Class A) with both air brake and tanker endorsements within six months of hire, must reside within the allowed distance for responding to on-call situations (approximately 30 minutes), pass a criminal history and driver’s license check, must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen. NOTE: This AFSCME union position is subject to D.O.T. random drug and alcohol testing.
