Anoka County is home to 11 registered sex offenders in March

There was the same number of registered sex offenders living in Anoka County in March compared to the previous month, according to the Minnesota Public Registrant Search.

There are 11 sex offenders registered in Anoka County in March.

The Registry shows one of these sex offender is sexual predator. In Minnesota, convicted predatory offenders also are subject to certain mandatory sentencing laws that are designed to minimize their chances to re-offend.

Minnesota legislation about sex offenders and predators is currently being evaluated and revised, such as if offenders with good behavior can be removed from the Registry.

Contact included sexual touching. Meadows gained access by entering their residences without permission and took advantage of their vulnerable state to gain compliance.

Contact included sexual touching and penetration. Letourneau used his relationships and trust to gain unmonitored access. He used attention and affection to exploit that access.
